Special Education Teacher

Analiese Siwik

Analiese is a dedicated educator with a strong background in history, secondary education, and special education. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in History from the University of Dayton and went on to complete her Master’s Degree in Secondary Education. Analiese holds endorsements in Special Education (LBS1), History, and Language Arts/Literature, showcasing her diverse expertise in the educational field. With a decade of experience in education, including nine years specifically in Special Education, Analiese has developed a deep understanding of diverse learning needs and effective teaching strategies. She is currently advancing her skills through training in the Wilson Reading System, a testament to her commitment to providing the best educational support for her students. In addition to her teaching experience, Analiese is certified as a Brain Trainer and holds a Board Certification of Advocacy in Special Education. Her role as a Special Education Advocate highlights her dedication to ensuring that all students receive the support and resources they need to succeed. In her free time, Analiese loves spending time with her family and friends. She enjoys traveling and attending sporting events in different states. She likes playing golf and taking walks with her son.

ASHA Certified Speech-Language Pathologist

Alyssa Deflorio

Alyssa is an American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) certified Speech-Language Pathologist and has been practicing since 2016. Her journey into the field began with her Bachelor's Degree in Speech and Hearing Science from Elmhurst University, where she laid the foundation for her career. She earned her Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Midwestern University. Throughout her career, Alyssa has demonstrated her passion for helping individuals of all ages overcome communication challenges. Her work experience spans across a variety of clinical settings, including elementary and middle schools, preschools, and private clinics. This diverse background has equipped her with a broad understanding of the unique needs and circumstances of her clients. With her wealth of experience, knowledge, dedication, and compassionate approach, Alyssa continues to positively impact the lives of her clients, helping them enhance their communication skills through evidence-based therapeutic practices in order to regain their confidence in their ability to communicate effectively. In her free time, Alyssa’s favorite hobby is exploring the neighborhood whether it is for a new exercise class, restaurant, or store. In addition, she loves spending quality time with her fiance, family, and friends.
